Board Exams create unnecessary fear among students of class 10th as they prepare for their first board exam appearance. As we all know that CBSE has reintroduced the traditional pattern of board exams from the current session i.e. 2017-18 with few additions for class 10th. The new addition is 20 marks internal assessment (IA) which comprises of 1) Periodic tests with weight-age of 10 marks 2) submission of the notebook of 5 marks and 3) subject enrichment activities of 5 marks. You must be wondering about reintroduction, new pattern, new additions and different assessment ways it may be difficult to obtain 90+ CGPA.
1. Planning:- One needs to believe that for any kind of success the foremost thing is “planning”. This has to be done at the beginning of the session and has to be followed strictly throughout the year. No worries, you still have half the session left.
2. Syllabus scanning:- We must apprise ourselves of the complete syllabus in advance with minutest details of the topic, sub-topics and prescribed exercises. It is perfect if you are not able to complete your syllabus for the first 6 months but you must revise it twice if not thrice before board papers.
3. Focus on easy first:- We all know our strengths and weaknesses very well. We must do the easy topics first that you have confidence on and then focus on subjects that seem difficult & beyond your comfort zone.
4. Study pattern:- In order to gain decent grades in CBSE 10th board papers you must love your books and be precise on online/digital support to make it interesting till you understand & grab it completely.
5. Keep a check your health:- All work and no play makes “Jack” a dull boy. Besides regular hard work for your studies, you should give generous time to Games, Music, and friends in order to rejuvenate and follow your schedule. 6. Concept clarity:- Every chapter of a subject is based on some concept Principle or theory.
