1.Introduction: Many festivals are celebrated India. Holi festival one of them. Holi is a colourful festival which people of every religion celebrate with full enthusiasm and fun. It celebrates in the months of Fagun (March). This festival filled with excitement bring affection and proximity to each other in which people meet together, they embrace and embrace each other with colours and Abhir. During this time, all together sing religious and Fagun songs on the tune of Dholak, Harmonium and curls. On this day we eat Gughiya, many types of sweets, papad, halwa, water-complete and curd-etc. Holi combustion is done a day before Holi festival.The festival signifies the victory of good over evil



2.Mythological stories behind the Holi: In ancient times, Hiranyakaship was a king. He called himself God and he ordered that all people would worship Him only. The poor were afraid what they did and worshipped them. His son Prahlad – who inspired to inspire once Munari Narada mantra of Vishnu – were who did not believe in his father’s words and chanting of Lord Vishnu. Hiranyakaship did not tolerate the command of this son of his son and he had planned to kill his son. Prahlad’s father asked to help his sister Holika because Holika had a boon for not burning in the fire. Holika got ready to help her brother. Holika went to Chita, and Prahlad put in her lap but with the grace of Vishnu, Prahlad stayed safe and the Holika was burnt to death. 



3.Historical importance: Holi festival is a very ancient festival. You can see Many holy books write about Holi and many Historians believe that this festival was also prevalent in Aryans, but mostly it was celebrated in Eastern India only. This festival is described in many ancient religious books. This festival is also mentioned in ancient manuscripts and texts of Puranas like Narada Purana and Prabha Puran. It has been mentioned in a record about 300 years old from Isa, situated at Ramgarh place of Vindhya region. Vasant Satut and Vasantotsav in Sanskrit literature have been the favourite subjects of many poets.
 4.Brindavan's flowers:     Holi is celebrated all over in India but Brindavan's flowers Holi and Lath Holi are considered to be world famous in Radha's village Barsen. Indian's and another side of country Many tourists come to see this festival

5.Holi party,  colour festival       A day before Holi of colours, people remember the mythology of Holika Dahan by burning the straw of wood, grass and dung at night. It is believed that on this day, all the members of the family get the massage of the mustard utensil on the body, the filth of the body and the house becomes clearer and the happiness and positive powers of the house are entered.



On the next day of Holika Dhanah. All the people play colours with their friends, family and relatives. On this day, kids throw colourful balloons on each other. Everyone embraces each other and with Gulal, Abir, they express their love and affection. On this special occasion, all of them make sweets, yoghurt, salted, papad etc. in their home.
