Whats New In IBPS SO 2018 Syllabus/Study Material And examination Scheme
This year ibps has introduced separate section timing in preliminary examination for all vacancies . the separate timing will consist of 40 mins. in all three sections. when appearing for the examination must remember this thing in examination .
IBPS SO Selection Procedure 2018-19
the selection Procedure comprise three stages – preliminary exam , main exam , interview. a Applicants first need to appear in the preliminary exam then main exam and after that interview. preliminary examination is only qualifying nature. merit will be prepared on the basis of main and interview marks. final merit will made on the basis of main examination and interview. he weightage (ratio) of Online Main exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. A Applicant should qualify both in the Online Main exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment Procedure , details of which will be made available subsequently on authorised IBPS website.
Selection Procedure
The Applicants who have been shortlisted in the Online Main Exam for CRP SPL-VIII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The min. qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of applicants shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the applicants in the Online Main Examination of CRP-SPL-VIII and Interview.Examination Pattern

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both–Online Preliminary and Online Main examinations)
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused. You don’t need to go deep in chapters just make your speed super fast and practice as much as you can.
