Maulana Azad National Scholarship for Minority Girls is a national level scholarship scheme which is provides for those girls who pass out the 10th class examination and going to take admission in 11th class. It gives financial support for the girls who come under the minority level. Maulana Azad Education Foundation has been started this scholarship scheme for the talented and qualified girls students who wants to continue their education.

Maulana Azad Education Foundation was settled up on Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birth centenary ceremony which also celebrated as national education day in India. The education foundation is a spontaneous, non-political and non-profit making social service organization settled up to promote higher education among the people who was educationally backward section of the society. The foundation is financially supported by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
