Coral Reef’s can be found in shallower, warmer waters and include corals such as algae, as well as animal polyps. There are many species such as fish, urchins, invertebrates and microorganisms that inhabit the waters of coral reefs.

Estuaries are distinctive from sea water life as it includes freshwater rivers and streams that meet the ocean. It also supports many different types of species which includes crabs, oysters and different types of freshwater fish.

The marine ecosystems include an amazing amount and variety of species which ranges from anything such as to the microscopic phytoplankton to the biggest mammals in the world. Some of the most common fish found in the ocean includes flounders, butterfish, dogfish, mackerel, monkfish and squid.

Even birds are included in the habitat of the ocean as some of their species, such as gulls, wading birds and shorebirds enjoy the fish as their daily source of food.
