The desire to help invariably arises in every person who faces social injustice in society. Fortunately, recently a positive trend has been observed in Ukraine: an increasing number of companies are aware of the importance of Charity not as a tool of PR, but as an opportunity to make this world a little better at the expense of their own efforts.

Cooperation with “Tabletochki” as an opportunity to help cancer patients

In November 2016, Dobovo joined the charitable action of the “Tabletochki” foundation. Under the terms of cooperation 1 UAH from each reservation on the site is transferred to the fund’s account. All collected funds go to buy pills for Cancer Patients.

Taking into account the fact that Dobovo is the leader in online booking of apartments for daily rent, the “Tabletochki” fund receives from 5000 UAH per month, and this figure is constantly growing. Thus, the reservation service makes its contribution to the fight against cancer in Ukraine.

Dobovo’s own charitable initiatives

The fact that Dobovo was able to help make sure of their own experience. And for this it is not necessary to be involved in large charitable projects. This year the company had an idea to make the process of assistance permanent. In connection with this, a thousands hryvnias are allocated each month to charity in Dobovo. To the total amount, each employee can add personal funds and take part in visiting an orphanage or an animal shelter.

As a result, such a format of assistance is already bearing fruit: after visiting the orphanage in Dobovo, a challenge was launched with a hashtag #подаруйщастя. Its essence is to transfer the torch for philanthropy on Facebook to partner companies and simply not indifferent people.

The Dobovo team also visited a shelter for stray animals that needed help. Our goal was to help the shelter in the purchase of medicines: in fact, here, along with healthy residents, live disabled animals, as well as cats and dogs that have suffered any injuries during their life on the street.

Why is it worth talking about?

We have been confronted with the opinion that it is worth keeping silent about good deeds from childhood. But, perhaps, it is necessary to recognize that values ​​have remained the same, but the times have changed? After all, a good deed committed by one company can become a contagious example for its partners and competitors.

Today, charity is not a trend of our time. This is an opportunity to set a new fashion for doing good deeds at the global level. It is not the amount of donations that is important, but the very fact of rendering assistance. And the more people adopt this idea, the better will be the world and the country in which we live.
