St. Patrick has long been considered the patron saint of Ireland. That’s why in this country he is the most respected person. During St. Patrick’s Day across the country you will see parades, festivals and festive masses in churches. The Irish people revere their saints in a traditional way: they are coming together in a pub for a bottle of beer with friends.
