Prive Restaurant, Kilpauk – Vegetarian Food Review

This post is going to be one awesome experience of pure vegetarian food that spanned multi cuisines and each one outperformed the other. Few of the dishes were exemplary in comparison to the others, but overall it was a lovely culinary journey for us.  Most of us know Prive restaurant located opposite to Citi center and this is their new restaurant at Kilpauk at Waddels road. Located in first floor, it is quite spacious to host groups also. New inclusion in the menu includes Mexican dishes, Italian dishes and North Indian food. We had a full course dinner starting from Soups, starters, main course and desserts.

Mexican food was absolutely yummy. Spinach quesadilla and cottage cheese, Mexican Lasagna, Nachos with Cheese sauce, Mexican Varderashvardesh were the hot picks.

Spinach Quesadilla with cottage cheese filling – Absolutely stunning, soft with a perfect filling. Strongly recommended item.

Nachos with cheese sauce – Liberal real cheese with nachos – it is ok to indulge without bothering about the extra calories.

Mexican Lasagna – Loved the golden-brown cheese layer on the top, a baked delicacy, quite good.

Mexican Varderashvardesh served with mashed potato was a new tasting, good to try.

On the Tandoori side, we had Tandoori salad, papdi, and in the main course, it was stuffed paratha, garlic naan, Masala Cheese Naan with dal makhana and paneer tikka masala.

Tandoori salad was presented in an innovative fashion and it is a must try.

Garlic naan is highly recommended for its flavor and its texture. It blended too well with paneer tikka masala and dal makhani.  Stuffed paratha and masala cheese naan lived upto their name.

What is a main course without favorite sizzler, here is the Veg sizzler we tried, Sizzler is best in Prive. Do try it out and you will love it.

In Soups, we tried out Mexican Tortilla soup, Minestrone soup, lemon coriander soup, Zupadi fungi soup (Mushroom soup) and manchow soup.  The Mexican tortilla soup was extraordinary in taste.

The lemon coriander soup was prepared with fresh lemon and coriander, freshness guaranteed. The other soups lacked that punch we look for in a soup, though we it had the flavor.

We had fruit punch, more of a creamy heavy kind when we anticipated a lighter juice kind of drink.

Kit Kat Shake for hard core chocolate lovers

In desserts, gulab jamun came in hot and was a welcome dessert. The servings of ice-cream sundaes – Florida Sunday and Hot chocolate fudge were liberal – Hot chocolate fudge had nuts and choco sauce and the Florida Sunday had fruity ice-creams and toppings to go with it.

Do check out this restaurant for vegetarian multi cuisine options specifically the Mexican food, and you sure have an awesome dining experience on hand.
