Spring marched in as a LION this year, I have already gotten a tan, my husband had an epic 3 days in row of fishing with 60+ fish caught! We are ready for the glories of summer, are you? Below is a list of all the fun that is coming to town. From the Saturday Farmers Markets, to the bi-weekly Rodeo, the Jackson Hole Live concert series, to the Fall Arts Festival that marks the slowing of the summer season; whatever the activity we are ready to GO!
New events and shows are added throughout the summer so please be sure to check with our Concierge Team to be sure you don’t miss out on any of our Wild West summer fun. 
 
MAY 10
12:00pm. Jackson Eco Fair. Hosted by Jackson Hole Energy Sustainability Project, this 11-year tradition in the Tetons draws roughly 2,500 participants annually. Eco-Fair celebrates environmental stewardship and features sustainability-oriented booths, live music, local food, demonstrations, kids' activities, raffle prizes and more. At Snow King Ball Field. 
4:00pm. Jackson Hole Community Band 25th Anniversary Spring Concert. Celebrate 25 years with the Jackson Hole Community Band by attending their Spring Concert. Jennifer Levanduski conducts this festive concert including tunes by Bernstein, Percy Grainger, and Gershwin. This concert is family friendly and free. At the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole.
6:00pm. Tie One On Trout Unlimited Banquet & Auction. Do you love fishing in Wyoming? If the answer is yes join Wyoming Trout Unlimited and Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited for an incredible night of fun, prizes, and festivities at Hotel Terra to benefit coldwater fisheries! With a reception style dinner, bar, raffles, live auctions, and silent auctions it is going to be a full night of festivities. We'll have an impresive list of prizes and auction items on that you won't want to miss. So come out, have a fantastic evening, and support Wyoming Trout Unlimited and Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited. MAY 11
11:00am. Ultimate Towner Obstacle Course Race. Join us for the 3rd Towner Obstacle Course Race in Jackson Hole! Originally known as the Tough Towner and now the Ultimate Towner, this obstacle course race cover 4 miles throughout the town of Jackson,  starting and finishing at Phil Baux Park at the base of the local Snow King Mountain.  Overcome Your Obstacles! Around Town. 
 
MAY 16
6:00pm. Dancers’ Workshop: More the Movement. Dancers’ Workshop students take the stage in the Center Theater to show friends, family, and the welcomed public what they’ve learned in their dance classes over the last year. Five years olds to adults shine in this evening of dances that put them center stage and give them the unforgettable experience of performing in a high quality production. At the Center for the Arts.
 
MAY 16-25
9:30am-5:00pm. Mountain Man Rendezvous and Traders Row. Experience history! Traders Row, Candy Cannon, Bow & Arrow Competition, Hawk & Knife Competition, and Atlatl Competition at the Teton County Fairgrounds. 
 
MAY 17-18
ElkFest. Every spring, thousands of elk wintering on the National Elk Refuge lose their antlers before they migrate to their summer range. The Boy Scouts assist the Refuge with harvesting the shed antlers and auction them to bidders from around the world who make furniture, wall decorations, jewelry and food products from them. In 2013, 8,507 pounds of antlers were sold at the auction, up from the ten-year average of 8,133 pounds. All events on Town Square except where noted.

5:30pm. Talon Nights. Join us at the Old Wilson School house from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for the last in a FREE 3-part series on raptor identification. Learn how bird behaviors, from migration to nesting, can help you identify wild birds of prey. Roger Smith of Teton Raptor Center will guide you through the amazing antics of several key raptor species, followed by fun activities to explore the challenges that raptors face. Advanced registration is appreciated, but not required. Participants who pre-register for all three classes will be entered to win a special prize from TRC. Various Times. 33rd Annual Old West Days Celebration. Jackson Hole has long been referred to as "The Last of the Old West," and with the area's rich history, it's no wonder Old West Days is a favorite among visitors and locals alike. 8:00pm. The WYOmericana Caravan.  A traveling concert circus of sorts, the WYOmericana Caravan is a rolling representation of the square state's burgeoning songwriter scene. Artists will rotate performance slots each night, making the headliner/opener scenario unique to each tour stop. Three sets of WYOmericana music each night along with a heap of ad-libbed collaborations between bands this is one music tour you won't soon forget. At the Pink Garter. 
 
MAY 30
9:00pm. Grieves. Having spent nearly two years on the road touring in support of 88 Keys and Counting, Grieves found himself returning home to a fractured reality. Reeling from turbulence in his career and heartbreak in his personal life mixed with coming down from the high of the support he received on the road Grieves conceptualized Together/Apart, an album that would address the bond music creates between each of us as individuals and as a whole despite the many distances we experience be they geographical or emotional. At the Pink Garter.
 
6:00pm. Yellowstone Region Porsche Club of America Rendezvous Dinner. The annual Rendezvous Dinner Is the first event of the summer season for the Yellowstone Region Porsche Club of America.  Dress is Jackson dressy casual.  The event will occur at the Teton Pines Country Club and cocktails, with a no-host bar, will be served on the patio (weather permitting).  Some of the most beautiful automobiles in the valley will be on display along with some of the best scenery in the area.  Join us and meet new friends and visit with everyone.  We will serve a wonderful buffet dinner with dessert.  There will be an auction of car related items and items of local interest. 8:00pm. Spring Into Overdrive, presented by Big City Broadway. A Rock Musical Revue collaboration between Broadway professionals and the youth of Jackson. Big City Broadway (BCB) is teaming up with the Center for the Arts, Dancers’ Workshop and the Cathedral Voices adult choir to help inspire and mentor the BCB youth show choir. Dr. Keith Watts, owner of Earth Tours (earth-tours.com) and a passionate educator, will talk about the geology of the Snake River Canyon; Jason Jones, program director for the Teton Raptor Center will speak about anything and everything you ever wanted to know about bald eagles and osprey; and Margaret Creel, program director for the Snake River Fund will present on riparian plants, habitats and animal homes along the Snake River. 8:00pm. The Laff Staff. For six years the Laff Staff has brought zany, original improv comedy to Jackson. Using suggestions from the audience, they perform scenes and games completely off the cuff. In the Black Box Theater, at the Center for the Arts.

10:00am. 2nd Annual Touch-a-Truck! Jackson Hole Children's Museum blocks off King Street and fills the neighborhood with Big Trucks! Earth Movers, Emergency Response Vehicles,and other big and small unusual machinery and vehicles from all over the region! Food trucks and vendors, live music, the Imagination Playground and other special activities at the museum round out the special day. At Jackson Hole Children's Museum.
 
JUNE 14
8:00am. Jackson Hole Half Marathon. The Jackson Hole Half Marathon follows an amazing 13.1 mile course along the foot of the Tetons from Teton Village to Downtown Jackson. You'll follow a path that is a fast, net downhill route that has been described as one of the best altitude courses in the nation. So take up the challenge and prepare yourself now. If the elevation doesn't take your breath away, the incredible scenery will. Teton Village to Phil Baux Park.
 
1:00pm. 9th Annual Jackson Hole Crawfish Boil. Join us for a celebration of Louisiana tradition in the heart of the Tetons. This years Boil is going to be bigger & better than ever. As always we will have live music starting at 1:00 and going till dark. Crawfish and hot red beans-n-rice will be available all day long. This is a family friendly event, so bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets, but leave the dogs at home please. At the Snow King Ball Fields.

6:00pm. Jackson Hole WILD Festival- Steamroller Printing. Ten artists will roll out eight-by-ten foot posters with the help of a steamroller and the public.  Come and help us roll black pain over the artist-carved substrates. Marvel with us when the steamroller presses fabric to paint and magnificent creations are born.  Musicians will make music to accompany the art action and hamburgers will be sizzling on the grill.  It's a street party with a difference!  Please join us. 5:00pm. Jackson Hole WILD Festival- Nature’s Beauty. Put your creative team together, collect the budding, blooming bounty of nature to adorn a person to create a living, breathing, moving work of art. All Day. Jackson Hole Mountain Games. The Jackson Hole Mountain Games celebrates the adventure lifestyle with athletic events, music, food, drink and outdoor industry representation. In 2012 and 2013, The Outerlocal Summer Games lit up the valley with epic celebrations. In 2014, we’re changing our name to the Jackson Hole Mountain Games and expanding the event into a three-day adventure festival that showcases all the things we love to do in Jackson in the summer. The Jackson Hole Mountain Games will make Jackson Hole the epicenter of an adventure athlete’s dream weekend. In conjunction with the Paddle Sports Symposium, we’re adding a water day and SUP race on Slide Lake, and we’ll once again partner with JacksonHoleLive! for a free outdoor concerts to conclude the Games.

Artists will be creating artwork live at the National Museum of Wildlife Art's Plein Air Festival.  The artists will race to complete their masterpieces in a mere four hours.  In addition to watching artists work, the fun-for-families event features live music, a chance for kids to get in on the creative action with games, and fun food. At the National Museum of Wildlife Art. 
 
6:00pm. Jackson Hole WILD Festival-Solstice Street Fair & Species Parade. The Solstice Street Fair kicks off at the Jackson Hole Shootout at 6:00 on the Town Square.  Fascinating species will begin to assemble for the Species Parade set to roll at the conclusion of the shoot out.  Food and merchandise booths open at 6:00, entertainment begins at 7:00 on the festival stage.  When the sun sets, the festival torches will be lit to keep the longest day of the year shining until 11:00 pm. 5:00pm. Grand Wine Tasting. The 2014 Jackson Hole Wine Auction kicks off the Grand Wine Tasting moderated by Wine Spectator writer and noted wine critic, Matt Kramer. Guests will be treated to world-class wines from Alta Vista, Arietta Winery, Craggy Range, Mason Louis Jadot, Pride Mountain Vineyards, Taylor Fladgate, Tenuta di Biserno, and Vérité. Matt Kramer will lead a lively discussion with the winery principals on the insights and approaches to making great wine. At the Westbank Grill.

6:00pm. A Taste of Jackson Hole. Embark on an all-you-can savor culinary journey at Taste of Jackson Hole. 4:30pm. Jackson Hole Wine Auction. The centerpiece of the weekend’s festivities, this premier event takes place under brilliant Wyoming skies on the stunning Snake River Ranch in the shadow of the majestic Teton Mountain range.
 
Start the evening with a glass of Taittinger Champagne, delectable hors d’ oeuvres, and bidding on an exclusive array of silent auction items. Auctioneer Fritz Hatton will gather everyone for an entertaining and tempting live auction with a lineup of special wine collections and adventures – a delight for bidders and spectators alike. Following the spirited bidding, enjoy the vintners’ selection of fine wines paired with an exquisite five-course feast created by our featured chefs.

All Day. Artists paint in and around GTNP and Jackson Hole. Come out to Grand Teton National Park to watch a professional artist work in the field. 45 artist will be in the GTNP painting for two weeks as an art awareness program and fundraiser for Grand Teton National Park. Established in 1965, Art Fair Jackson Hole (AFJH) brings diverse forms of art to a community that is rich in western history.  Our summer Art Fairs are family-oriented events that feature up to 170 international, national and local artists, live music, food and snack booths and hands-on art activities.  AFJH attracts enthusiastic members of the public from our immediate community and from across the nation who are interested in supporting the visual arts. 7:00pm. Rise of the Fenix. Ringholz Producions has teamed up with the National Museum of Wildlife Art to throw you the most wonderful art installation to date; live music, cocktails, dinner treats, gifts, photo ops but most importantly, awe & beauty.Out of the ashes of all our lives the FENIX will rise. 8:00pm. Thin Air Shakespeare. Thin Air Shakespeare is back! This free, family-friendly outdoor production will invite audiences to play with the performers as all varieties of identity are hidden, changed, examined, and confronted in Shakespeare's romantic comedy. Directed and adapted by Bob Berky, this Thin Air Shakespeare production will include guest artists, musicians, and other community entertainers as part of the preshow entertainment. JULY 16
7:00pm. Wet Paint Show. a party at the Moose Visitor Center! Join us for drinks and appetizers and to see our exclusive "wet paint" show and sale. All works are created in the valley over two weeks by a distinguished group of invited artists. 40% of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Grand Teton Association to support ongoing educational, interpretive, and scientific programs in Grand Teton National Park. JULY 17 
5:00pm. Group Painting Demonstration. Come enjoy watching participants create a finished work of art from a blank canvas. Get a glimpse of the plein air painting process, and interact with artists as they work. Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center.

8:00pm. Fantasy & Fantasia: Mussorgsky - Night on Bald Mountain, Kalevi Aho – Sieidi, Rachmaninoff - Symphonic Dances. For the 53rd summer in a row musicians from renowned orchestras will once again journey to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. With Music Director Donald Runnicles, these musicians come together to create a world-class symphony. This summer marks the Festival’s 40th season! Join us this summer! At Walk Festival Hall, Teton Village.
