A Taiwanese Dinner At Fong Lye, Desa Sri Hartamas

SPENT NEARLY TWO WEEKS DOWN SOUTH and it is time to move on again... After our simple breakfast nearby, we started our journey back north, stopping in Klang valley for two nights.  Both of us are not familiar with the roads, thanks to GPS, we managed to get to 1-Utama without any big problem.  LOL... From there, we handed over the wheels to my friends... That is a Big Relief!

It was almost dinner time then and we were whisked off to dinner at a Taiwanese restaurant called Fong Lye at Desa Sri Hartamas.  Oh yes, this is the first time I heard of this restaurant, not-very-updated with what-to-eat in this part of the town.  I am so glad my friend took us there, the Taiwanese style of food suits me pretty well, very tasty indeed.  Heard that there are a few branches too, one at The Gardens, Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC and the first ever opened is at Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.  We ordered 4 dishes and instead of rice, we opted for sweet potato porridge to go with the dishes.  Ladies!!

Long straight roads ahead leading us to 1-Utama....
From there, my lovely friends took us to have a nice dinner at Fong Lye Restaurant....
One of the dishes... Yam with shrimps...
So tasty that just one dish alone is enough for my dinner!
Claypot Chicken.... with fragrant Basil leaves and Malt...
Appetizing!!
4-Angled Beans aka Winged bean...
Well... I just cannot describe... drooling as I post these up... LOL...
And a bowl each for us... Less carbs for the evening....
The whole complete meal was really satisfying...
Total charged was around RM140 plus...
Wanna come again if opportunity arises again?
yes.. Yes... YES!!
