jetBlue today announced a two day fare sale for travel between January 10th and March 27th of next year. You must book your flights by the end of the day tomorrow, December 12th. There are a couple restrictions you will need to be aware of, the sale excludes Friday and Sunday travel, and there are blackout dates between February 15th and February 25th.

I have seen other reports indicating sale Fares as low as $49 from certain cities, while the email I received indicated fares as low as $44 from my home airport of Orlando, so be sure to check prices from nearby airports, if you have the flexibility, and jetBlue has a presence.

Flights on jetBlue can also be booked using points, which have a fixed value related to the cost of the ticket, so this sale is also great in that regard. If you can find one of the lowest $44 or $49 fares, those fares can also be booked for around 2200-2600 points plus the small tax and fee co-pay.

Remember that you can cancel your ticket for free within 24 hours, so if you find a great fare that might work for you within the specified travel dates, book it now and use the next 24 hours to firm up your plans.
