Miami is an energetic city to visit with many unique and interesting sights, such as the 900-pound liger Hercules and an early 20th century mansion. Celebrities often frequent some of Miami’s top attractions, so it’s possible to have a run-in with someone famous during your visit.

If your family is coming along for the trip, a fun place to take the kids is Jungle Island. Many adults find the eco-adventure park enjoyable too. Activities include zip lines, an outdoor wind tunnel flight experience, escape rooms, pop-up water slides and a Nerf battle stadium. Wildlife you can see at Jungle Island are parrots, pink flamingos, a liger, African penguins and alligator snapping turtles. To help prevent overcrowding, Jungle Island usually limits occupancy of the water park to 60 people at a time.

Shop at Bayside Marketplace

Bayside Marketplace is an open-air two-story shopping center near Biscayne Bay. According to Greater Miami Convention & Visitor’s Bureau it’s the top visited attraction in the city. There are 140 inline spaces and over 50 kiosks and carts at Bayside Marketplace. The shopping center has live music everyday and a collection of restaurants and bars too. If you watch the TV series Miami Vice, you may have seen Bayside Marketplace a few times on the show.
