My articles are always packed with great travel tips and advice for women, families and children. But at times, it they lack some serious advice for men. So in this case I am sharing with you a list of things that should always be in a man’s suitcase.

Men are extremely practical and don’t like to carry too much with them. This, sometimes means, that you end up traveling with less than you need.

5 Must Have Travel Essentials for Men

1. Toiletry Bag – Even though it might not be as big as ours it is an item that most of them ignore. But having a separate bag for your cologne, shaving stuff, deodorant and tooth brush can be extremely useful when it comes to being organized. Also it helps protect the rest of your stuff in case something spills.

2. Black T-Shirt and a Pair of Jeans – Most of you love being comfortable and fresh in your clothes. However I’ve notices that if plans change in the slightest and you sometimes need to dress a bit better you don’t have the right kind of clothes with you. So packing these two basic items can help a lot with not looking out of place.

3. Solar External Battery Charger – If you are anything like most travelers I have spoken to, you tend to forget to charge your phone whenever you are at the hotel and your phone keeps dying everywhere. You might find it extremely useful to have one of these in your backpack at all times.

4. Reusable Water Bottle with Filter – I know this is one that doesn’t just apply for men but I have seen some of you who don’t like having to carry one and end up having to buy bottles on the street. This isn’t very good for your economy and for the planet. So have one of these, you don’t even have to keep it full at all time because you can use any kind of water on it and be safe due to the filter.

5. Quick Dry Towel and Underwear – I also heard that some of you don’t like taking a towel due to how much space it takes. However there are some really good ones made of microfiber that take almost no space and dry out really fast.

Then for the underwear, I am aware that you like to pack the bare minimum. So instead of bringing a dozen of them you can take only 3 with you that you can wash each night on the sink and they will be dry to use in the morning.

Bonus: Before you go out to buy these items take a look at online reviews there are sites where you can find them for these items and many others and some that even offer cool stuff for men like coupons for cigars.
