Far from the maddening crowd

We have been planning to visit Ramdhara from long time, finally made it this Sunday.
Ramdhara is picturesque location near Loni Kalbhor, which is maintained by forestry department. It is mainly a temple with lake surrounding it and hills standing behind it. It is a good picnic spot. The canopy of tress is refreshing.
You can even have a glimpse of life that is seen in villages. The traffic dwindles once you enter Loni village. The lands after Loni village are deserted except for few shepherd camps.
No hoarding is provided for directions..I couldn't find any, purely relayed on GPS.
Whatever effort the travel takes is nothing when
compared to the pleasant feeling you get after reaching the place.
The temple is serene. The sanctum sanctorum contains deities of Lord Krishna, Shiva and Ram. The temple walls are decorated with paintings of saptarshis and other gods. The idols indicating dasavataras of Vishnu are also placed. It's very informative. On the other side of the temple the lake begins. We sat on the steps and enjoyed the beautiful nature.
One thing that disturbed me was how people can be insensitive. There was a family who were also seated on steps and playing in the water, they took their selfies and while leaving just threw an empty water bottle in the lake. That was very annoying.
Behind the temple is a open area with trees and benches to sit.We enjoyed the birds bidding good-bye to the day.  There is also a beautiful pathway created around the lake. There were some ducks in the lake. Praneeth enjoyed them a lot. He wanted to go below after them. Not many people were there. You can also view sun setting near the edge of the hill.
The temple will be opened from 5:00 am to 6:00pm. its worth a visit. It is somewhat in a secluded area till you reach Loni village. There is a small place where you can find snacks near the temple. Will be visiting definitely some time again.
