Ithaa Beach Maldives Guest House

I chose Ithaa Beach Maldives guest house judging by its rating on booking.com and the reviews on tripadvisor. It has only three rooms but they’re all different. It happened so that I stayed there alone. So I was lucky to get the room overlooking the ocean.

The guest house is situated rather close to the local beach with a view on Kandooma.

Although the rooms are small but they’re clean and cozy. The room has almost everything except of the mini bar. However you may keep your drinks in the refrigerator near the reception desk. The guest house has its own kitchen with chefs from Bangladesh (one of them speaks rather a good English which is very rare).

I chose a full board. The breakfast was very substantial I would say. As for lunch I decided to try something local which I never tried before. My choice was Garudhiya Roshi. It’s a dish which includes fish boiled with herbs, greenery, roshi (something similar to pita bread). All these you eat with your hands.

For the dinner I had a whole reef fish with rice and vegetables. And papaya fruit was for a desert. Everything was very delicious.

The staff were pleasant, responsive and always ready t help.

So I liked this guest house very much.
