Before you dive under the waters, you’ll need to take care of a few things like travel plans and accommodation for example. Now, when it comes to Maldives, things can get pretty expensive. But don’t worry; there are plenty of options when it comes to getting a good deal. For instance, if you book last minute deals at a Maldives diving resort the likes of the Adaaran Club Rannalhi, you’ll be able to get a good discount. It’s best recommended to go with a resort like this as they sometimes include airport transfers and excursions as part of a package. This is going to save you a lot of time and money.

The beautiful Maldives archipelago is made up of 26 atolls with 1,192 coral islands. These are home to about 2,000 species of fish, and over 200 species of coral. The country has two seasons which are called the Northeast Monsoon and the Southwest Monsoon. The first is the dry season while the latter is the wet season. While Maldives enjoys excellent Snorkelling conditions the year round, many travellers choose to go during the dry season which is from January through April. Another interesting fact about Maldives is that at 1.5 metres above sea level, it happens to be the lowest country in the world!
