It's no secret that I'm something of an avid shopper, and boy do I love me a bargain— the thought alone of saving money gives me an adrenaline rush, so with Black Friday around the corner, I'm all poised and ready to save big. When I'm not scouring the Internet for some sweet deals (which is often, let's be real), chances are you can find me at my local shopping centre, which has everything I really need in life: Zara, Topshop, Sephora, Oak + Fort— you get the gist. Luckily for me, Southgate was kind enough to give me the 411 on their Black Friday shenanigans, which I will now impart to all my local peeps to help you get the most out of your Black Friday experience. After all, sharing is caring (and I care hard). 

Aside from amazing deals from all their retailers (Hudsons Bay is rumoured to be doing crazy markdowns, FYI), Southgate has some fun initiatives running throughout Black Friday weekend to help you maximize your savings. From Nov. 24-26, if purchase a $200 gift card at guest services you'll receive a $20 bonus, and if you're really gung ho, you could do that each day for a bonus $60! Crazy, right? If you're going to be spending the money anyway, it's an incredible offer (more details here). There will also be some amazing prizes up for grabs from various mall vendors, so be sure to enter while you're at guest services... I'm seriously jealous of the person that walks away with the Evoolution prize!

On Black Friday itself, Southgate will be hosting three pop-up fashion shows at noon, 2pm and 4pm at various locations around the mall (check website for details) that you won't want to miss. That's because if you snap and share your favourite look from the shows on Instagram or Twitter tagging @southgatecentre, you'll be eligible to win one of three $250 gift cards to shop the look yourself — man I love gift cards! Southgate was kind enough to gift me with one to get a head start on my shopping, so I'm on a GC high right now... how cute is this jacket, top and jeans that I scored?!
