Exciting news in the equestrian world is that Reem Acra - the Lebanese queen of opulent dressing, who never evades the use of a sequin given half the chance - has become the title sponsor of the forthcoming FEI World Cup Dressage Final.

Sadly for the competitors this doesn't mean dressage uniform will be upgrading to gold lame numbers, but who knows, in time those well cut jackets may see an innovation or two with Ms Acra now on board.
