These raw materials are then ground using a process called stone milling, a traditional method of grinding that produces the finest powder and gives our products an authentic, homemade quality.

We were established in 1978 by two family members with a few milling devices and a small shop on Harrison Road, Leicester, with the aim of making and selling flours and spices using traditional methods. 

After a decade of trading, one of the original founders was joined by his two younger brothers to expand further and create a respectable family business. As the business went from strength to strength and grew ever larger, we moved to bigger premises and bought more manufacturing machinery so that we could keep up with the demand for our products, which boomed during the 80’s and 90’s due to an increase in the UK’s Asian population.

We have continued to grow and our products are so popular that we export to many parts of the world, including the USA, Canada and parts of Europe. We pride ourselves on being a family business, and remain an active part of the community, providing the best quality ethnic food and excellent customer service. Ingredients - click the ingredients to find them in our shop

2 x organic chicken breasts

4 tsp tandoori masala

3/4 tsp garlic and ginger paste

3/4 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp lime juice

2 tsp fat free yoghurt

1 tsp olive oil

Cilantro & Fresh Squeezed Lime to garnish

Method

1. Combine chicken & all ingredients through Lime Juice

2. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours

3. Add Yogurt and Olive Oil and refrigerate for an additional hour

4. Bake chicken for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees
