Eight Different Delicious Pulled Pork Ideas

I never thought I would be writing a post this awesome. A bunch of great Pulled Pork ideas by a bunch of great bloggers. And it is so satisfying to know that they took the time to cook my recipe!! But that is what this post is all about, branching out and collaborating with new people. For me, it is one of the best things about being a blogger. So not long ago, I posted a pulled pork recipe, and to my surprise, it tasted so dang good, it was like sex in your mouth. So once you have cooked the pork, that’s great….. but now what? I wanted to demonstrate what you could do with it, so I made pulled pork sliders and uploaded it as a seperate post.

As great as it was, I still wasn’t completely satisfied. Pulled pork is one of the most versatile dishes because you can add it to just about anything. And because of that, I saw a lot of potential that I wasn’t delivering, which made me want to take things a bit further. So I thought, “let’s see what other people can do with this recipe”. I sent E-mails to a bunch of different food bloggers, challenging them to make a dish with the pulled pork that will grab people’s attention. And most of them responded very positively! Which got me super excited because I think posts like this are very valuable.

What I love most though, is that these bloggers didn’t just think of the obvious pulled pork dish, they were super creative about how they used it. I didn’t make any limits as to what they could or couldn’t do because I knew they would produce something fantastic. And the food I enjoy most is the food that is inspired by new and refreshing ideas.

So thank you Kelly, Marie (from Foodolic), Marie (from sugar salt magic), Tera, Reka, Alicia and Kearan for all the awesome recipes you have created. What I found very interesting as well, is when reading through these ladies posts, I noticed that their recipes said something about them. Whether it is that they love baking, making healthy food or a certain cuisine etc. They were all a bit different from one another. It taught me that every foodie/food blogger has their own uniqueness when it comes to cooking, writing, photography etc. Please make sure you take the time to check these blogs out because not only are they great, they all have their own wonderful unique style, and I think you can get a lot out of that.

And of course, in order to use pulled pork, we need to make it first. So click here to get the recipe for my smokey and spicy pulled pork.
