It is always a very stressful time but fortunately their is help on the way. With this holiday gift guide we help you find some great gift idea for the real foodie. Lets get started!

What do you give the real foodie or home cook when they have a kitchen cabinets full with appliances and what not? There are so many great gifts to buy for your home chef.

So to make life easier I’ve compiled a list of 13 holiday gift ideas this year with my favorite cooking and baking tools. I also have a number of my personal wish list items on there as well.

These gift ideas range from very low priced items to a little more expensive. I’m sure there is something for every one.

I hope this will help you with your holiday shopping and find the best gifts for your loved once.

Holiday gift guide

  1. A Magimix kitchen machine – The first gift idea is the Magimix 4200XL. What do you choose? A blender, an immersion blender, a stand mixer or a kitchen machine. This Magimix is the perfect choice because it is all of the above into one. Can you imagine the space you save in your kitchen cabinets? It can blend a smoothie, knead bread dough or turn vegetables into a sauce.
  2. La tourangelle cooking oils – One of my favorite oils are sunflower and sesame oil. The bottles are so pretty. Those alone are a gift in itself. These artisan oils are organic and specialty cooking oils.  There are 19 oils to choose or select a gift set.
  3. Mini cast iron skillet – These mini cast iron skillets are the best. Just like with a regular 10 inch cast iron skillet you can cook a great breakfast like huevos ranchos with this mini skillets. They are fun and decorative on your holiday breakfast table.
  4. James Oliver’s Christmas Cookbook – If you love cooking and looking for Christmas inspiration be sure to check out this Christmas Cookbook from Jamie. This book is full of all time favorites and classics.
  5. Santoku knife – As a cook you know how important a good sharp nice is. I love these santoku knives because they are firm and heavy enough to cut through anything. Keep it sharp and you will enjoy cooking even more.
  6. Crockpot Express – This year is the year I discovered both slow cooking and high pressure cooking. I used to slow cook with my Dutch oven in the oven but with the Crockpot Express, life became so much easier. This multi cooker can also high pressure cook, cook rice, yogurt, stews and so much more. This has been one of my best buys this year.
  7. Spring form 7″ inch – these spring forms are a must have in your kitchen cabinet. This have a special layer so your baking will stick less. Almost all of my baking this year was with this spring forms.
  8. Oven mitts – You can not do without a good set of oven mitts. These are a little bit longer which always good when you are backing. Love how fun these oven mitts look.
  9. Veggie cutter – Another favorite is my veggie cutter. Getting julienne cut carrots, thinly sliced potatoes for homemade potato chips, mashed tomatoes for pan con tomate or apples. These veggie cutters make it so easy. Wash with water and you are done.
  10. Marble and wood cutting board – I’m loving this decorative cutting board, the combination of marble and wood looks so good in just about any kitchen.
  11. Joseph Joseph measuring cups – another one of my absolute favorite kitchen essentials. The measuring cups fit together so they do not take up a lot of storage space. Every measuring cup has a different color. They are high quality and good priced.
  12. Wooden taco holders – This might be the best gift idea of them all. You can’t buy them but you can make them yourself. These taco holders are quite easy to make but work so well with a filled taco. They also look so decorative. The full instruction are here on the Tortilla Channel Give these a try.
  13. Zenker muffin tin – Just about every muffin recipe this year was made with this muffin tin. It fits 12 muffins an has a non-stick coating. You almost do not need any cooking product to get an easy release of your bakes. It also makes clean so much easier. This is a great gift and money well spent.

So there you have it my Holiday Gift list for the real foodie. I hope this list gives you some inspiration to find lovely cooking gifts.
