Chicken Yakitori
    Servings25 pieces
    Prep Time20 minutes plus marinating time
    Cook Time5 minutes
    Ingredients
    • 14oz chicken breast filetssliced 5mm/ 1/4 inch thick
    • 1/2cup Soy Sauce
    • 1/4cup honey
    • 1clove garliccrushed
    • 1/2teaspoons ground pepper
    • small bamboob skewerssoaked
    Instructions
    1. Place chicken in a glass bowl, mix in the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger. Cover, place in refrigerator and let marinate for several hours or overnight.
    2. Thread one or two strips of chicken on each skewer, using a weaving motion. Brush with marinade.
    3. Heat grill or barbecue to high. Grease rack or plate with oil and arrange the skewers in a row. Cook for 21/2 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade as they cook. Serve immediately.
