Chow Chow Kootu | Chayote Kootu

I already posted a few types of Chow chow kootu recipes. This chow chow kootu will be slightly different. It is completely Tirunelveli style. My mother in law makes this style of kootu. Vellai poosani, manjal poosani, cabbage and chow chow can be made in this style. The masala is different and the dal used is different from my usual kootus. It is very simple to make. It is also easy to prepare. The taste will be really good. It tastes well with simple curd rice, puli kuzhambu or rasam. The colour and appearance will also be appetizing. Chow Chow is my favorite vegetables. Specially, in terms of weight loss. There are days when I simple had a bowl of this kootu without any main dishes. I hope you too would love this one.
