Wishful thinking

I want, I need, I wish
The world could fit into my palm,
Then with these whispers you can’t hear
I’d be the storm and you, the calm.

I need, I wish, I feel
Like I could use a raging scream,
To let my voice stretch out the silence
And maybe reach you in a dream.

I wish, I feel, I try
To keep your shape carved in my bones;
So I asked to ocean to bring  you to me
But it only brought me salt and stones.
