Denver Metro Report: August 2017

The Zumper Denver Metro Report analyzed active listings in July across 12 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the Fastest Growing rents.

Cities Ranked By Rent

The Most Expensive

–Broomfield, CO was the most expensive city to rent with one bedrooms priced at a median of $1,430.

–Lakewood, CO rent saw a slight spike since last month to $1,360 and ranked as the second most expensive.

–Centennial, CO was close behind Lakewood with rent at $1,340.

The Least Expensive

–Aurora & Arvada, CO tied for the most affordable city with rents at $1,000.

–Thornton, CO was second with one bedrooms priced at $1,110.

–Northglenn, CO, only $10 more expensive than Thornton, ranked as third with rent at $1,120.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Lakewood, CO had the Fastest Growing Rent since this time last year, up a whopping 15.3%.

–Westminster, CO rent had the second largest yearly growth rate, up 8.7%.

–Denver, CO was third with rent climbing 8.3% since this time last year.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

–Arvada, CO rent was the fastest growing since last month, up 5.3%.

–Denver, CO rent also had a large monthly growth rate, climbing 4.8%.

–Northglenn, CO had the third fastest growing rent, up 4.7% since last month.
