Hamburg chicken farming is popular, especially in it’s native area. It is one of the most beautiful, snappiest and most alert chicken breed. It is raised for both eggs production and also for ornamental purpose. Exact origin of the Hamburg Chicken is somewhat unclear. But it carry a German name. Some experts believe that it is a much older breed that developed somewhere in the Mediterranean area (most likely from Turkey). Others agree that the Hamburg chicken breed was originally bred in Holland and Hamburg during the 1840s. Actually no one is really sure about where the Hamburg chicken originated.
