We’ve all been told that sleep is one of the important components to helping us have healthy bodies and lead healthy lives. While sleeping, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. Athletes in particular need sleep to help their exhausted bodies recuperate and that’s why wearable tech design firms are creating products to help speed up that recovery time.
Under Armour’s Athlete Recovery Sleepwear is designed for just that. The design team behind Under Armour and New England Patriots’ quarterback, Tom Brady, came together to create a way to recover after an intense workout. The best part? It can happen while you sleep.
Wearable tech design firms are constantly trying to change the game and improve the world we live in. They’ve created innovative products that change the way we live, in a good way. For example, the Sonar Glove which allows you to feel things underwater without touching them or Feel, a wearable that tracks your emotions. The Athlete Recovery Sleepwear is no different.
How Wearable Tech Design Firms Create the Smart Clothing
Under Armour’s Recovery Sleepwear inserts bioceramic technology into the lining of its garments which helps maximize comfort and fit. Within the pattern it includes special bioceramic particles that absorb infrared wavelengths emitted by the body and reflects back far infrared energy, helping the body recover faster while promoting better sleep. This sort of technology is completely safe and promotes cell regrowth within the body, allowing for your muscles and joints to regenerate faster.
At Mako, we’re super excited to see innovations like this hit the marketplace. Wearable tech design firms are really changing the game to take wearable technology to the next level. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
