Wasp Nest Removal turns out to be Honey Bee Swarm.

We were called to a client in Sandhurst who had a large “Wasp Nest” in their garden. We informed them that at this time of year wasp nests wouldn’t be bigger than an Orange, let alone a football! And that it was probably a Honey Bee Swarm.
It turned out to be a lovely Honey Bee Swarm hanging from a pagoda, right above a garden table!

I was able to easily collect the Bees and they are now happily in a new hive in Wokingham.

If you see a “Wasp Nest” or “Group of Wasps” hanging from a tree, fence or similar, please do not try and treat them yourself! As it will most likely be Honey Bees which really do need to be collected alive where possible.
