The Karoq has a powered tailgate and 18” wheels if you add on the Premium Pack. The Peugeot 3008 Active doesn’t have these features, but the French SUV counters with integrated satellite navigation and a wireless phone charging pad fitted as standard.

The Peugeot 3008 Active is stylish, extremely driveable, has an agile chassis, a lovely interior and impressive fuel economy. There are a small number on our roads, so it also has a certain cache for those that want to turn heads. In fact, the 3008 Active could be one of the best kept secrets amongst SUV drivers for now. The Skoda Karoq DSG also delivers, and it’s a close run race between the two because the pricing is so close. However, the Karoq uses more fuel, and it lacks refinement at lower speeds. For this reason, the 3008 Active is in our opinion the best choice for a European style SUV that you can feel a genuine connection with.
