Former CEO of Visa UK started work in a crypto-currency startup

Marc O’Brien, former CEO of Visa UK, joined the Crypto currency team – a payment crypto service where he will take the position of CEO.

His 25 years of experience in financial services and finance, including the position of a consultant in MasterCard, allowed him to become CEO in Visa UK. In 2014, after his departure from Visa, he began to engage in consulting in the fintech sector, the most famous project – Revolut.

“Mark will lead the launch of the Crypterium application, which will allow users to make crypto-currency payments with the same ease and convenience as cash or credit cards,” the company said in a statement.

The experience of O’Brien will help the company to achieve its goals faster. The new CEO of the project relies on the development of the crypto-currency ecosystem:

“I am very happy to join Crypterium at such an interesting time. I firmly believe that soon crypto currencies will become an ordinary phenomenon, and we will be pioneers in creating a new exciting business Crypterium “, said O’Brien.

Despite the fact that the crypto-currencies are only beginning to enter our life, soon the payments by digital coins will become as simple as the card rolling through the terminal.
