After a long discussion with Apple, the iOS Wallet O3 has finally been reapproved and moved to the AppStore. The O3 wallet was created by O3 Labs, based in Japan, and includes functions such as tracking portfolio growth, NEP-5 token support, TouchID password protection and a “view-only” function for users who would like to monitor cold wallets.

Last year, O3 Labs published a wallet in the AppStore, it was approved by Apple and on October 31, 2017 became available to users. However, a few weeks after the small update in the O3 app, the purse was removed by Apple, citing violations in the storage rules.

The O3 Labs team was surprised by this event, since no major changes were made to the Application since the initial approval. At that time, the O3 wallet had already built up a small subscriber base, which numbered about 2,000 users, and the inability to update the application could jeopardize the user’s funds.

What seemed like a mistake on the part of Apple was, in fact, a deliberate decision, as a result of which O3 Labs had to make an official appeal about the return of the application to the store. The petition for change.org on returning the application to the AppStore was supported by 847 user signatures.

On January 17, 2018, O3 restarted the O3 iOS application via TestFlight, the Android version was also published as part of the restart.

After several months of uninterrupted work with Apple, the O3 purse was finally reissued in the AppStore. This is very convenient for the NEO community, since O3 is the only available version of the wallet for iOS users. The application can be downloaded from this link .
