On Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 6:25 in the evening, a serious injury Crash occurred near the intersection of Medical Center Parkway and Warren Street in Murfreesboro. The crash involved one vehicle, a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 2001 Suzuki GS-6 received life threatening injuries in the crash. He was transported by Rutherford County EMS to St. Thomas Rutherford and was then flown to Vanderbilt Hospital by LifeFlight Helicopter for treatment.
The motorcyclist is identified as Mr. Andrew Patrick Ahrens, 21 years of age. The Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) is continuing the investigation of this crash
