Moving Estée Lauder’s Company and Employee Stores

Last week Eagle Transfer was very busy moving companies across NYC. However, our most exciting move took place over the past two weekends for one of our longest running clients, Estée Lauder. For the past 15 years we have had the opportunity to work with Estée Lauder on countless relocations and maintained a vast storage account for the company. Last week however, the company called us in to relocate the Estée Lauder company Store, as well as the Estée Lauder employee store within their NYC headquarters at 767 5th Avenue.

Not only did we move what was in the stores, but we also relocated all the storage that supports the stores. The storage comprised of 84 different shelving units. Each unit was 7 shelves high, 48 inches wide and 24 inches deep. These measurements equated to 530 traditional moving library carriers!

Over the two weekend period about 1,500 man hours were spent relocating Estée Lauder’s employee and company stores and we are happy to say the relocation was very successful! We couldn’t have completed the move so well without the hard work of one of our most experienced project managers, Joseph Kneski. Additionally the foremen on the move, Papa Diagne and Louie Roman were pivotal to our success! Thanks to Joe, Louie and Papa for all of your hard work and thanks to Estée Lauder for being such an amazing client. It’s always a pleasure to work with you.
