Well the Dog Days of Summer are here again and our Volunteers are busy in and out of the hot temperatures.  We have some outside grass cutting and weed eating projects going on and we are thankful for the volunteers who are helping us with these important projects.  Our main project for August is to provide funding and assistance for a widow who just celebrated her 91st birthday.  She is not able to live alone and we have providing assistance with someone to stay with her to make sure she eats and takes her medicine on time.  She is one of those who has trouble with her memory.  We make sure she gets plenty of good meals to eat, but almost every night about an hour after she has had a wonderful evening meal, she wants to know if we are going to eat.  This is a very expensive but important adventure and we are looking for volunteers to make a financial donation to help us with these expenses.  We hope everyone will add us to your prayer list, that God will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory.  Thanks everyone for making sure Volunteers 4 Good continues to provide assistance to Real People with Real Needs.
