One Word

It's not uncommon this time of year to reflect, take inventory, and make plans for the future. Many of us even make New Year's Resolutions... to exercise daily, to spend more time in the scriptures, to stop smoking, to lose weight, to spend more time in prayer and meditation, to take the high road, to refrain from unleashing the monkeys, etc, etc.

It's also not uncommon for my resolutions to be forgotten by Groundhog Day. Some don't even make it to Elvis' birthday.

This year I've decided instead to pick One Word to be the goal. Maybe with one word, I can remember it. Maybe with one word, I can accomplish it.  What word should I choose?

So many words resonate. So many words are deserving to be the theme for 2018. How does one choose?

Here are a few suggestions...

1.   Imagine what you want your life to look like.

2.  Journal the description of your ideal life. What does it look like? What words describe it?

3.  Of all the words that describe your ideal life, which ones resonate?

4.  Whittle down your list. Try each word on. How does it fit?

5.  Select your Word. Make your commitment.

Join me! Which word will you choose?

Wishing you a very ____(Your Word Here)-ous___ New Year!!

 Susan

PS.  Please forward this newsletter to a friend and share the fun!

"Painting with Susan" Classes offered by Spring Hill Parks and Recreation

Join us for Painting with Susan and attend painting classes offered in acrylics at our Winchester location in Spring Hill. Learn a new skill, have some fun, make new friends, and create a colorful legacy!

Beginners are welcomed. No need to have any painting experience. I want to help every student discover his or her inner artist and learn to enjoy the process of painting

Whether you choose a one-time class or the on-going weekly lessons, I'll guide you through the steps to create a painting you'll be proud of.  Anyone can paint. All it takes is a knowledgeable teacher with a heart for students and a little practice. You'll get both in any of my classes.

Painting classes are offered in the lower level of the Winchester Building located at 563 Maury Hill Street behind Spring Hill Elementary in Evan's Park. Please call 615-668-8263 to register or for additional information.
