Last Christmas police apprehended a man walking around aimlessley holding a cooler in Branford.  He was undoubtedly looking for a place to leave it.  And thank goodness the police stopped him.  Inside the cooler were 8 puppies!  The new born pups and their Mom were taken to New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine on Christmas Day where they were cared for.  Once the Puppies were old enough, they were all adopted.  And just last weekend all of the happy puppies came together for a family reunion in the middle of Branford Towne Green.  What a great ending!!!  Take a look at the lucky pups in the pic below courtesy of the Branford Eagle.
