Aude Guerrucci-Pool/Getty ImagesAretha Franklin will headline the second day of a new Music, food and Wine festival called the City Winery Open that will take place September 17 and 18 at Forest Hills Stadium in the New York City borough of Queens. The event, co-organized by the City Winery franchise, will feature an eclectic lineup of performers, as well as food from 40 top New York-area chefs and restaurants, and dozens of wines from around the world.

Other music acts that will hit the stage during the festival include Sheryl Crow, The Wallflowers, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Gillian Welch and Dawes. Tickets and various premium passes are available for purchase now at CWOpen.com. The premium packages offer special food and wine tastings, VIP seating and more.

There will be a 45-minute break between each music act to give attendees time to enjoy the various food and wine offerings.

"Over the past eight years at City Winery, we have been blessed to cultivate relationships with stars in the worlds of music, food and wine that converge to create such a unique experience at our five locations around the country," says City Winery founder Michael Dorf. "The Open is our opportunity to express this vision at a much larger scale, with the same commitment to quality, in a two-day experience in our own backyard."

Meanwhile, Franklin has eight other performances on her 2016 tour schedule, which spans from a concert tonight in Cincinnati through a November 12 show in Chicago.
