Credit: Danny ClinchFollowing the death of his Eagles band mate Glenn Frey in January, Don Henley will return to the road this summer for a series of solo European shows and a major tour of the U.S. and Canada. The North American portion of the trek will get underway on July 13 in Penticton, Canada, and is plotted out through a September 21 show in Brooklyn, New York.

During the tour, Henley will perform classic songs from the Eagles catalog in addition to tunes from his solo career, including selections from his country-flavored 2015 album, Cass County. Among the major cities Don will visit are Calgary and Montreal, Canada; Cincinnati; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Boston. He also will play an August 14-15 stand at the Ravinia Festival in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park, Illinois.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale to the general public starting this Friday, April 8, at 10 a.m. local time. American Express Card members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets to many of the dates beginning Tuesday, April 5, at 10 a.m. local time. Henley's European leg will run from a June 20 show in Stockholm, Sweden, through a previously reported July 3 performance in London with Carole King as part of the British Summer Time Hyde Park concert series. King will be playing her classic 1971 album Tapestry in its entirety at the Hyde Park show.
