The City of Des Moines announced on Thursday, July 11 that the Redondo Fishing Pier is closed until further notice:
Upon field review of the Redondo Fishing Pier, it has been determined that structural inspection is required.
The facility will be closed until further notice to fully evaluate the condition of the structure and determine if any actions are required to ensure safe public use.
Facility updates will be provided as the inspections are concluded.
