These days people tend to SHY-AWAY or RUN-AWAY from Dirty Jobs due to reasons known to them, in which some of these so called "dirty-jobs" actually pay well and keeps life moving even more than salary earners.

These jobs include:
1. Soak-away (septic tank) packers
2. Waste/recycling agents
3. Akara/Yam sellers
4. Block industry labour workers

1. Soak-away (Septic tank) packers: 

These is one of the most top rated "dirty jobs" in Nigeria which involves one packaging defecate from a soak-away...hmmm! its really irritating and i'm sure you know what that means!!!
But, the exciting part of it all is that these set of people are actually paid within the range of 10,000-50,000 daily depending on the Environment/location of this soak-away.
They are mostly found in the South-Western part of Nigeria.
let me do a little calculation here! If a soak-away packer should earn #15,000 in a day, now multiply that 15,000 with 30 days in a month = N450,000
Chai!!! is that not enough money already!!!
Nawa oh!!!...Money dey for this kine work oh!!

 

These are another set of people soldiered with the responsibility of gathering waste and recycling them for Company/Industrial Use...
Atimes, they may be mistaken to be "Mad Men" because they go around packing cans, plastic rubbers, containers in any location where wastes are.
Their earning rate ranges from #5,000-15,000 daily also depending on the environment.

3. Akara/Yam Sellers

These ones are very very common in Naija...in every Street/Ghetto u must find an Akara seller, no matter what!...Most of them are women shaa.
This job involves the frying of grinded beans to make a snack called "Akara" ...Akara is widely eaten in Nigeria and the rate of its demand too is high in every state in Nigeria.
They earn cool cash from this job and it ranges from #2,000 - 10,000 daily.
If u have an Akara seller that you know well-well .... Omoh! cut cap for dat pesin oh! ...cos dem dey really chop money well-well...

4. Block Industry Labour Workers

These ones are set of people that i've ever been with...cos my Dad once owned a Block industry...infact i was the one in-charge of paying them at the close of each day...
They include:
- Operators
- Carriers and
- Mixers















Operators are the ones that handles the Block machine and produce blocks.
Carriers are the ones that are responsible for carrying the block from the machine immediately the operator is done with the production.
while the Mixers are responsible for mixing the sand and cement inorder to produce the blocks.
These set of workers too earn real cool cash and their earning rate ranges from #3,000-10,000 daily.


Having looked at all these jobs that most people underrate and call "Dirty-Jobs" ... To be honest! these set of people might be underrated oh! but they are really hitting the Jackpot day-by-day!!!
