Every day we receive hundreds of promotional emails,
we generally didn’t pay attention to them, but,
many times we see some interesting offers from
the online stores where we shop frequently.
Sometimes we click through the links provided
and shop for some products.
This is because the mail attracted us to take the action.
This whole process of bringing
customers through the mail is known as email marketing.

Email marketing is not a waste of time and resource as many us thinks it might be. I suggest every small or large business should try this and then come to any conclusions. Many of us don’t take email marketing seriously, but yes it also persuades customers.

“Email, the most addicting drug on the planet”

We think social media works best for business,

Even our grandparents have mail id for various purposes, for doing every online activity we must have a mail id.
So we can assume the prominence of email over internet users. Every business should use this as a tool for their sales promotion.

We assume that promotional emails are always ignored or marked as spam but this is only half truth,
yes there are some business promoters who use email as their major source for all kinds of business communications
which also include sales promotions.

According to a research by Market Sherpa, the majority of the people love to receive promotional emails regularly.
It is also seen that many of the consumers prefer email communication for all kinds of consumer service and complaints,where the customers can describe their problems and issues with the company.
