Today, 14th February, not talking about Valentine’s day. Teenagers will take care of it. In fact I’m talking about something serious for a change . This time it’s socio-political one. This post would be more like a political satire which I personally love a lot and my favourite topic.
Today, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party Government completes three years in Delhi the capital of India. I must say that the Government has completed glorious three years and almost all their promises have already been fulfilled or are in proces.
This Kejriwal government is unlike other government as we can witness in current times. The name “Aam Aadmi Party” itself says a lot this a government where nobody is a supreme all are equally powerful in fact the public has more power on their hand. While some political parties still shouting and sloganeering of ‘Achhe Din’ and the real change and revolution we can see in Delhi while the all in all of the national rulling party is roaming around the world in the name of FDI which is still an illusion.
While Kejriwal was busy in making various policies for his people his rivals were also busy in making memes on him. I guess they rather should have been jealous of it. Even though he’s always on soft targets of his rivals he never miss on fulfilling his promises made to the people.
Aap Government has done tremendous job in various field throughout the last 3 years. Some notable work include: No hike on electricity charges and a minimal price of electricity, free water, mohalla clinics and poly clinics, free medicines and lot more in terms of basic amenities and infrastructure.
The list also includes-
- renovation of government schools,
- Jan Lokpal Bill,
- CCTVs,
- end of inspector Raj,
- lowest VAT regime in country,
- one travel card for autos and metro,
- streetlights, fixed 1Cr compensation for martyrs,
- public services at doorstep,
- control in corruption etc.
As we know that nothing in the world is perfect, there are some promises which are still not started or in the pipeline like-
- Yamuna Cleaning,
- road renovation,
- increasing tree cover,
- increase in buses and free WiFi.
