Auschwitz Concentration Camp

I have considered a lot if I should publish these images. I had the chance to visit Auschwitz and have seen many documentaries and movies around this topic. I must say this is one of the most difficult part of history I had to learn about and even worse, see.

For those who don’t know what Auschwitz is, I think you all should. It is a Concentration Camp built in Poland an hour away from Krakow by Nazi-Germany during WWII which now serves as a memorial place. Lots of people lost their lives here: Jewish from all over Europe, Polish Political criminals, gypsies and other groups Hitler considered as “lower races”.

As 27 of January is celebrated in most countries as the Holocaust Memorial Day, I leave you with some pictures I took while visiting the Concentration Camp in Poland.

May all those who lost their lives there, rest in peace! And may people of this planet learn from all we have witnessed and never do it again, to anybody. Let’s all be equal and let’s all be peaceful.
