One thing I’ve learned from people who reach their goals and attain success: you must have a plan.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. – Proverbs 16:3

If you want to achieve something, you need a blueprint for it. God has given us the freedom to choose what path to take in our lives, but He directs us along the right way.

Before making decisions, especially life-changing ones, pause. Ask God if this is what He wants for your life. Constant communication with Him will give you the close connection to know how to recognize His voice.

You will feel it in your heart.
You will have a clear vision.
You will read it in a book.
You will hear it in someone else’s advise.

There are different ways, but you will know if God is speaking to you. And He will lead you as you listen.

It doesn’t mean that everything will always go smoothly. Sometimes, a business you started will not work out. The job offer that you accepted may not be exactly as you have dreamed it to be. But always remember that God has the best plans for you, no matter how difficult the present may be.

We need to trust and believe that God will bless us as we commit our daily lives to Him. It may not be what we expect, but it will be always according to His perfect will.
