Whew. I've been Editing a poetry manuscript so I've been buried in Word and words and technology and tempests, including having a virus eat everything on my relatively new laptop (less than a year old).

Last night I sent the first pass for final edits to the author. He sent it back with about five poems completely crossed out, and four of them I was very fond of. I told him I wasn't taking them out--I would go to the wall on this. I believe in his work this much.  I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't have passion for his work because I am not getting paid.  This is a work of love for me. This poet needs to be heard.

I hope he listens to me.

I'm real excited to get his book out on the web so the rest of the world can see what a talent has been hiding on the east coast of the United States.
