I Wrote a Grant--well, I wrote a whole slew of grants for 7Tepees--and one to the Metta Fund for $140,000 was approved. I'm not sure what the final grant total was, but it was to fund a new youth leadership program. This was in late 2009 with approval coming in 2010.

I just found out about it by digging around on the Internet because the woman who hired me at 7Tepees is no longer with the organization.

I'm very excited to have this feather in my cap, and also want to let everyone know that I am available for Grant Writing. This includes research for RFPs, both government and foundation, and community and corporate partnerships with non-profits in addition to just grant writing.
