2013 Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights

Why should landlubbers have all the fun at Christmas time?  The 2013 Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights brings the magic of thousands of twinkling lights right onto the water.  If you missed the boat parade last weekend, you’re in luck.  It has been extended this year to include this Saturday, December 14th.  Yay!

The 2013 Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights is a favorite of Havasu locals.  More than 50 boats are decked out in sparkly gear as they traverse the channel from Thompson Bay to Windsor Beach and back.  If you’ve never been to one of our boat parades, you NEED to add this to your holiday agenda!  All Havasu residents and visitors are welcome to visit the docks outside of the London Bridge Resort to see the participating boats up close and personal anytime between now and the evening of the 14th.  Beginning at dusk, all boats will be lit up for your viewing pleasure.

Remember to dress warmly because it can get quite chilly near the water at night.  Even in the desert, the temperatures can get nippy.  For a night filled with Christmas magic, come to the Bridgewater Channel this Saturday, December 14th for the 2013 Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights.  Happy holidays!
