VM Direct is a two-year-old, $80-million company based in Las Vegas that promotes internet services through a network marketing model.

Dan Weiss, an independent affiliate for VM Direct, called the various features offered by VM Direct "the next great learning curve in computer communications. It's basically taking the power of TV and putting it on your own Web site. All that's needed is a Web cam and a subscription to VM Direct Services.

The service is on a monthly basis, and the amount of air time provided is related to the subscription rate, which can vary from $10 for someone who plans to use a few minutes of airtime, to an operator of a business who might spend $1,000 a month for extended time.

"The benefit is to any individual in business that needs to hold sales meetings and introduce products. There are end-less applications for Realtors," Weiss said.
