What the Local Chinese Know and What You Don't

Those of you who had been searching up and down for real wholesale deals, look no more. What I am about to tell you will give you an eye opener to the real world. Well, by all means, I may be wrong about what I'm about to say, but a good advice; if you would just accept what I am about to say, it would bring you benefits, and I'm talking about a whole-lotta benefits.

As for me, I have been looking up and down for the right sources since 2001, and thankfully, I have found it. Living in an insufficient environment that is full of mostly "well to do" or in other words "wealthy" people, sorta makes me fell deprived, of almost anything. When I was a kid, I had friends who their parents bought them many (and I mean it when I say many) cool toys and gadgets. I would have to settle with my own "home-made-toys". I didn't really feel anything at that moment, but what really hit hard was when I was in my teens.

I really felt deprived of many things, especially when many of my friends had sports cars during my late teens. Tons of cash were given to them on a weekly basis, and with all those cash that they had, most of it were spent on buying whatever stuff they liked and having a real good time with their girlfriends without the worry of where to go and how much they have in their pockets. These friends of mine were really nice people though, just that I wasn't able to have their splendid lifestyles. The only downside of it is that they spent too much of money. Not that they were ultimate spendthrifts, but for the fact that they had saved a lot of money, and just too much left over extra cash to use.

Looking back, I felt the need to achieve financial security where I do not need to look at how much I have in my pocket to spend. I had to do something about my life. I had to come out of my nutshell and really make something happen. Stupid as it seems, I quitted college (you can call me a quitter, but I am not), and started my journey to ahchieve financial security. What I did was really silly, but I have never regretted doing it.

To have money you have to work. That is true in many cases. With no work, you don't get paid, not unless you are lucky enough to be given money by other people, mainly, you parents. I took up a 9 to 5 job, and thought that if I had worked hard and long enough, I would be promoted much quicker than most other lazy bums. Well, it seems that no matter what I do, my boss didn't really care about my tiny existancein his company. Worst was when my boss was in a bad mood. He was the big boos anyway, and so he thinks that he has the power to criticize me from my head to toe, including my family and my ancestors, even when I didn't do anything wrong.. Can you feel the pain and anger?

I got sick and tired after working for a few torturing months, and looked elsewhere for income. Working as a slave is no fun, and so I've decided to come out myself, and be the Big Boss. Yes. The Big Boss! That sounded authorative. Good idea, but where to start?

And so, I took out the "Yellow Pages", surfed the internet and started looking for wholesalers locally. Only then I thought, what I am going to sell? No idea. Without thinking about a niche, I went about selling just about any thing I can get my hands on. Bad idea. In the end, it burnt a hole in my pocket, and I had to start from square one. Yeah, it's a pain in the a*s.

After the fiasco, I thought to my self that I have to come up with a plan. Not just any plan, but a one that can really work. Then I went on knowing more people. Knowing more people means knowing more potential investors, and these potential investors are the ones that would give me money to start my own business, and so I had to come out with a very sound busines plan. How I do that? Make a good business plan. After days of researching on that, I finally was able to compile a very good business plan.

Only then I went out telling people about my plans, and handing out business proposals. And I thought, "Goodie, somebody would be investing into my business since that I have an impressive business proposal". Nope, I was wrong again. My idea got stolen, and some old hag uncle had started it. What can I do? Nothing, because he has more money than me, that rich jerk a*s basta*d. And so, I had to start all over again, and this time, never to trust anyone, but myself.

This time, using my savings, I went to China, since that I have a few relatives there. When I was there, I didn't feel so bad anymore. Reason is because, my past experiences had made me into a better person. And so, as each day passed by, I became more and more experienced. I am not asking you not to trust anyone, but just be extremely careful, especially those that are really friendly in China.

Well, my Chinese relatives was of good help, since that they were mostly working as government officials. I was in China because I wanted to attend the Trade Exhibition that was held in Hong Kong. It's actually called the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council or HKTDC to be exact. Then there was this another exhibition in Guangzhou, China, and it was even bigger, and so I had to stay for another few days in China itself. By the way, most of the product line that you can find in the fair could be found in www.globalsources.com for the HKTDC fair and www.alibaba.com for the Guangzhou fair. If you don't already know these 2 famous websites, you will be potentially outta business if you don't do anything about it, not unless you are reeeally lucky.

I was feeling so fueled up because I thought that I had got my hands on quality products that has a super low price tag on it since that I bought it directly from China. Just look at Ebay, and you'll get what I mean. My cost price was already Ebay prices. How could these Ebayers be selling at my cost price for the same product that I'm selling and still be able to earn money from it? Done my research and have just found out that the wholesale price that I had was not actually the real wholesale prices. What was the problem? Did my research again, and only found that most of the Ebayers are Chinese people. Yes, they were of Chinese nationality. No wonder they can afford to sell at my cost price! That is because, they are the manufacturers themselves. I learn something new every single day. How interesting

Competition, competition, competition. How do I eliminate competition? I don't know, because I can not. Even Microsoft can not. All businesses can do is just to minimize competition, not to eradicate competition completely. That is why, many Chinese people from China are constantly lowering prices in Ebay by the month until they earn peanuts. Economics of trade, demand and supply, you name it, but in these situations, it is of the most extreme cases.

Some individuals in China who has a lot of money would go to the extreme cases where they were willing to suffer losses for 2 to 4 months to eliminate competition having to sell their goods at a loss, and eventually jacking up the prices again because they think that their buyers have no choice. For this, they were so wrong because, when they jack up their prices again, consumers would search out for other new suppliers for many reasons, one reason, for being a dishonest supplier. This person that I know went almost bankrupt, having to owe many people money. He is okay now, for willing to take advice from other people.

Now for the part where you will have an opportunity making it big doing a wholesale business:

-Get the right contacts, not blood suckers.
-Go direct with the manufacturers if you can.
-Intensify your marketing.
-Have integrity in your marketing strategies.
-Know your product.
-Even if your product is not so good, you can still sell it with a very good marketing knowledge (Just don't cheat other people. In the end, you will be caught no matter how much you are trying to disclose it. People are not as stupid as you think they are no matter how smart you are)
-Don't be a sly. Be witty.
-Learn something new every day.
-Try to relate everything that you see in with your eyes to business (think practically, think somethin like Feng Shui, be logical).
-Watch Discovery Channel /Animal Planet and relate it with business if you can. This would really help. Do it and you'll know.
-Follow what others do, and don't innovate ideas too much. Your business will burn if you over do it.
-Read more books.
-Know more languages (tip: Chinese).
-Learn more about other people's cultures (sociology in short).
-Do not criticise other people's cultures. If you know and understand why they are doing what they do, you'll have a deeper understanding of many things.
-The list goes on.
-Have lots of common sense.

Now the part that is most important. The basics of profit is to buy low, sell high. Imagine buying a DVDr at 0.05 cents (USD) per disc, and selling it at 1.00USD. This is high profit margin. What about buying something at a cost of 5.00USD, and then selling it at 100.00USD? Even better, but I can't find anything as good as that, so please let me know if you've found something as good as that or better.

What I have now is a few products that has a high profit margin. If you're interested into doing what I am doing now, please send me an email, and I will email you the product catalogue. I go directly with manufacturers straight from factories. You cannot get any better price for the items that I have listed. If you have, we are going through the same suppliers.

Imagine being able to earn more than 20.00 to 40.00USD per item sold in Ebay. That is what I'm talking about. Think retail and you'll get the big picture of the business. I'm not selling it in Ebay because I am a little lazy. So if you choose to sell it in Ebay, it's your choice, but I suggest that you do both online and offline sales. Think wholesale. Think big. 40.00USD per item. 1 customer buy 10 items from you. That's 400.00USD for just 1 customer. Get the idea? Good.

Now this is totally legal. It's not some illegal stuff. I'm not disclosing any information here because if many people are to find out what high profit margin product I'm talking about, they'll be flocking to do what I do, buying fakes and selling them as real. Tools of the trade. Believe me, there are many people out there who even believed that there are genuine Prada bird cages when they see a Prada logo on it. Stupid? Well, maybe. But if you would understand why they choose to believe such things, you'll be shocked. They lack the exposure. That's one reason.

If you think that this is some sorta scam, so be it. I am not, and have never scammed anyone before and never will. I am offering opportunities for those who seek it. And along the way, I will keep updating you of high profit deals, just because I know the right people who tells me news. If you think you wanna go try it out in China yourself. Go ahead. If you succeed, congratulations. I am happy for you. If you got scamed, don't say I didn't warn you, and believe me, they will "be trying very hard" to squeeze the money out of you, especially when you're a "gwai lou"= caucasian/white people/foreigners that doesn't look asian or speak Chinese.

Knowing how the chinese people tick is a very tedious matter. Being a chinese myself, I personally feel that chinese people are a merge of sophistication and simplicity. It's hard to explain, but yet, I understand it myself. So if you're an opportunist, please feel free to email me at [email protected] .

I seek business partners, not customers. Think of this as a simbiotic business relationship.

Again, my email address is [email protected] . Why gmail? Because gmail is free and has 2Gb of storage space. Nothing beats free.

Thanks for reading.

P/S: Real wholesalers do not have a website. If you find any, most likely they are middlemans. So, please do not ask me about my website because I don't have one. I am a genuine wholesaler.
