Nissan has presented the third-generation of Nissan X-Trail at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2015 (IIMS 2015) aka Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). According to a recent report, the featured car will be launched in India, sometime this festival season.The SUV debuted in the archipelago last year and is assembled in Cikampek, West Java. The car features slim headlamps,‘V-Motion’ grille, C-shaped tail-lamps and D-pillar kink amongst other updated features. The Indonesian-spec model comes with two engine options, either a MR20DD 2.0-litre direct-injected four-cylinder engine, which produces 144 PS and 200 Nm, or the QR25DE 2.5-litre MPI four-cylinder engine, which delivers 171 PS and 233 Nm. In India the car will probably get a Nissan 2.0 DCi motor, which will be mated to a CVT gearbox.
Mileage
The company has fitted this utility vehicle with a 2.0-litre, dual Overhead Cam Shaft based petrol engine, which is incorporated with direct injection fuel supply system. It allows the vehicle to generate a maximum mileage between 11 to 14 Kmpl under standard driving conditions. On the other hand, the 2.5-litre power plant can produce 10 Kmpl within the city limits and about 13 Kmpl on the bigger roads, which is rather decent for Indian road conditions

The 2.0-litre petrol engine is rather powerful for the Indian road and traffic conditions.
